Our Founder
​.ART was founded by Sophie Nowakowska, an independent curator, art critic, and dedicated artist manager with a BA in Fine Art from Cambridge School of Art and an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. During her studies, Sophie encountered firsthand the numerous barriers artists face when entering and navigating the art world. Creatives often face challenges with essential professional skills such as networking, managing social media, or organising their time effectively. Working closely with artists on various projects and career paths, Sophie saw that outside of art universities, many lacked the structured support and mentorship needed to navigate these obstacles.
